To carry out this procedure we collects good quality brick earth which is free from excessive clay, sand, stones, grass roots and foreign matter. The soil is then soaked in water because before applying the layer of the mud mixture on the roof, the soil should be damped for 12 hours and should be mixed thoroughly to avoid clod formation in order to get a smooth paste. After completion of 12 hours, the mix is applied on the roof in requisite thickness. This mix prevents the roof from leaking. It also is helpful in sealing all the small holes and creaks.

Description:

APP uses polyester reinforcement or fiberglass reinforcement as the carrier, APP, APAO, as the modifier, and covers the insulation materials as polyethylene foil, sands, or minerals slated.

How to use it?

• Application procedure may vary slightly depending upon site conditions. However, Below given are general guidelines:

Surface preparation:

• It can only adhere to a clean and dry srea so where ever it has to be applied there the surface is to be made clean and dry. All surface Imperfections and protrusions are to be removed and repaired. Structurally unsound And friable concrete must be removed and repaired with a suitable repair mortar.

Priming:

• Apply anti-dust solvent primer 4-6 m2/lt. to a clean smooth and dry surface by brush, Roller or Spray. Refer primer data sheet for more details. Allow the primer to dry.

Alignment:

• Unroll and align APP rolls and re-roll correctly before torching. Overlaps should be a Minimum of 100 mm.

Torching:

• Use gas burner to heat substrate and underside of APP. Embossing on the lower face Of the membrane allows a fast and safe laying. When embossing disappears after Torching the membrane is ready to stick. Roll forward and press firmly against the Substrate to bond.
• Caution: Do not over torch as this will expose the reinforcement in the membrane and Cause damage to it.

Sealing:

• Heat both the overlaps and use round tipped trowel to seal the overlap.

Excess:

• Compound should be smoothened and pressed into seam using hot trowel.

Up stand:

• All angles and abutments should be sealed with extra care to ensure full bondage.
• Seal the edges well into the grooves and protect with appropriate sealant or any other Mastic sealant.

Storage and Transportation:

1. Different items, models, dimensions and grades should be stored separately.
2. Put the product in a dry ventilated place with the temperature lower than 50'c and the height less than 2 layers.
3. All the rolls should be erect without any putting across or incline. Cover the canvas when necessary.

Cautions:

1. Installation is forbidden in rainy days or temperature lower than 0’c.
2. All the workers should put on special uniforms to keep safe when installing. There Should be equipments for fire controls.
